January News:
Greetings Dear Friends,

Happy New Year. I will be heading to Kenya for a month of work around food, sustainability and culture. This will be the first time I will be visiting my home country as a chef, making it also the first time ORGANICS & SOUNDS will be meeting its fans that it has built through radio and Facebook. While in Kenya, I will be on the local radio station that has a reach of up to six million people; in other times I will be visiting local farmers and exchange knowledge about different matters; and cooking at different places the rest of the time.

I will also be taking organics seeds, a camera and a notebook as I share what I have learned in the Triangle. I also hope to learn a lot from folk wisdom about food I grew up around but never really took time to understand.

When I return, we will have a dinner on Feb. 26th hosted by the Abundance Foundation. UPDATE: see photos from this event!

Happy new year again and have a wonderful day.
